The driver's side turn signal and stop light were not working. Got it working intermittently by messing with pigtail connections. Fuses good.

Rear driver side turn signal and stop lights are not working?

Hi,
If you were moving the wiring around, chances are you simply have a poor connection. However, in most cases, the light socket is the problem.
Do me a favor. I attached a pic below showing the wiring at the light. First, using a multimeter, see if there is continuity to ground at the black wire. When testing, move the wire around to see if it changes. If that is good, check the other two wires for power in the socket itself. If there is power, replace the socket. If there is no power, back probe the wire from behind the socket to see if power is present.
