I just replaced the rear door actuator for the rear heat would not work while the front heat would. Once replaced, the actuator is not working. Is there a step that I am missing?

Sometimes the new part will need to be initialized but lets try resetting the system with a hard reboot. Remove the negative battery cable and hold it to the positive battery terminal which will discharge the system capacitors and allow the system to reboot and helpfully self initialize inself. Please let us know what happens.

I tried this and it did not work. In fact, the temperature will not read on the van now and none of the switches will work or dials will work for switching to rear air or defrost etc. Seems like the main controller is out as well.

All this started when you replace the actuator can I ask if it is an OEM (factory) part? Here are the HVAC wiring diagrams and fuse locations so we can see how the system works and let's check the HTR, ECU/ACC fuses to see if we had a voltage surge when connecting the battery.

Here is a guide to help us check for power at the fuses.

Check out the diagrams (Below). Please let us know what happens.
