Rear brake lights wont stay off

I had my brake booster replaced and now when I park and turn off my car, the brake lights wont go off. I have to pull up on the brake pedal to turn them off. And to be safe from running my battery died I wedge something under the pedal. Could my pedal or brake light switch need to be readjusted or what??

taek it back to wher eit was repaired and have them fix it they shouldn't have let it go like that. it may be the switch is bad or out of adjustment.
