I recently changed my rear wheel cylinder, handbrake cable and brake shoe, even after the adjustments in the cable my car tends to roll, no improvement. Can you please help me out?

Just to be sure what the issue is, you are parking the vehicle and putting the brake on and it rolls a little bit?

If this is the case, how much does it roll? If it is not much then this may be normal. Can you get a video from the outside of you parking the vehicle and showing how much it rolls?

Also, if you pull the parking brake then put it in gear, does it hold you in place if you try to drive away?

If this is rolling and not holding then that is one of two issues. First the parking shoes are not adjusted out enough. Second, you are not pulling the brake enough to fully engage it.

When pulling the handle you should start to feel tension after the first third of movement of the handle. The second 3rd of movement is your engagement range. The last 3rd should not be felt. Meaning the shoes are in full contact and you cannot pull the handle any more.

Here is a guide on that should help:

Let us know and we can go from there. Thanks
