1999 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE. WHEN RELEASING BRAKE PEDAL I HAVE A CLICKING SOUND FROM REAR WHEELS ALMOST LIKE THE PADS ARE HANGING ON THE ROTORS FOR A SECOND OR TWO WHEN I START DRIVING AGAIN. IF I PUT CAR IN NEUTRAL THEN BACK IN DRIVE IT WILL NOT DO IT. ANY IDEAS WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.

it sounds like a hardware issue with the pads. have a shop, many do free brake checks, to see what the issue actually is.
