Rear brake caliper push

I have the right tool for it, never done it on these cars. Isn't it simply turn the handle then tighten the 22-inch part and keep doing it till it pushes in? It twists but the caliper isn't retracting.

Hello,

Make sure that the brake fluid reservoir cap is off.

As for the caliper, unless it is seized or has a collapsed brake hose, it will go in after several turns of the tool. It does retract slowly.

I have attached a picture showing the orientation of the tool and the caliper.

Yes, brake reservoir cap is off. It finally retracted.
