Rear bearing hub removel

I have removed the 4 bolts and shaft nut from the hub assembly the hub will not come off the shaft with a 5 ton puller why?

There is corrosion between the hub and the spindle. A dead blow hammer is needed to help break it loose. If you have an air hammer, it will also help to remove it.

Sometimes, I use rust lube spray and then put a good bind on the puller and walk away and leave it for a while, go do something else. Then come back and try to put some more torque on the puller, walk away and leave it again. If your not going to use the hub again, you might try pecking around on it with a four pound hammer.
I'm not sure about using heat or a cutting torch on it? Maybe some of the others can jump in, I doubt if they will, though?
