Differential gear oil type?

I need to know what weight fluid is recommended in the rear-end? Also does it need to be GL-4 or GL-5?

api -GL5-80w90 gear oil unless a hot climate like Arizona the 90w can be used.

So any brand that is GL5 80w90 or 80w95? I appreciate the information. Thank you.

Yes, just as long as you use the correct spec oil, but cheap oils are just that. use quality and it will last longer.

Great! I changet my manual transmission fluid with Redline MT90 and it is fantastic! So i am going with Redline for the rear-end also. Thanks again for your help.
