I just had my o2 sensor fix and the codes are cleared, but my evap code and another one or two and it wont pass inspection.

How far did you drive it after the code was cleared before you had your smog test done?

Almost twenty miles and probably five to ten more miles before i take it back in tomorrow morning.

That is not far enough, sometimes they will set pretty fairly quickly, but a lot of the time it takes a while to set all the monitors because each monitor takes certain driving or engine running conditions so they can set.

The person from the garage drove and and he said let it cool down over night and then drive it a little bit in the morning and then bring it in and it should hopefully be able to pass inspection.

He is very hopeful it can take a while before they set.
