Realignment after dealership replaces lower control arm?

steering wheel position is not at 12:00 after dealership replaced lower control arm. They said alignment was not needed when replacing the lower control arm.

Generally, this is true, did the car have an accident and this is why the part was replaced? How far off is the steering wheel, can you upload an image of the problem?

Also, if an alignment was done with a bad part and a new part is installed the car will need another alignment.
