I have this annoying and rattling noise coming from the driver passenger door. I have check the nuts, hinges and everything are tight. The mechanic from the dealer sprayed white grease on all hinges and sliders everytime I have an oil change. What must be causing this noise? Thanks a lot and looking forward for your most appreciated reply.

If you are sure it is the door (not the seat belt, etc.)

Maybe it is internal, a dropped bolt or nut, latch linkages, window linkages, etc.

On our 1995 Plymouth Neon, we discovered our annoying rattle being the electric mirror (inner portion) vibrating inside the housing.

For a while, I wedged it with plastic stuff (like a piece of plastic from a bottle cap.

Seems like everyone else thought it did not belong there and pulled it out. (over and over and over and over).

It is the emergency spare car, it is seldom driven, I now just put up with the vibration when I drive it every two weeks or so to keep it up.
