Anytime I'm idling or accelerating I hear a rattle sometime IRS louder when just idling, but mainly while driving. it's a five speed at first thought it was a cover but now not so sure.

Hi and thanks for using 2CarPros.

Most times, the heat shields on the exhaust come loose and rattle. To this. Take a rubber mallet and tap on the exhaust on the vehicle to see if you can recreate the sound. The most common one to rattle is the one covering the catalytic converter, number 3 in the attached picture. Also, check any of the clamps on the exhaust which can rust apart and then dangle and rattle.

Let me know what you find.
