It does not rattle or knock when turning ignition switch on, it rattles and knock when I turn the ignition switch off. What could this problem be? Could this be a pulley and belt problem or an autonator problem?

check all disconnect belt and check for loose pulleys, accessory drive components. Check out the diagrams (Below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.
