I took my car to Firestone to have anti freeze changed. While in the process, of whatever they do to check pressures, the car will not start. Sounds like it is out of gas, but is not.

Can you check for spark, injection pulse and fuel pressure? And can you do a scan for codes as well?

Hi Tonyjohns90,

Here is a link to a couple of articles from this site that feature written step by step instructions and pictures showing and explaining the process of checking the fuel pressure and scanning for codes. I have also included a link to our YouTube channel where you can watch a video on how scan for codes.

If you decide you would like do these test yourself you can purchase a fuel pressure gauge and a code scanner online from sites like Amazon.com. .
