Usually happens in the winter so I will have no heat controls, 4 wheel drive selector has no function, cruise control stops working, both temp gauges stop working, battery light stays on, tow/haul doesn't work and gear selector isn't lit up. It just now happened in the heat of the summer when I want ac, same issues, gauges etc. I also noticed that when I try the fan speed selector, the 4 lights on the 4 wheel drive selector are on when the fan switch is in the off position and they turn off when I select a speed but nothing happens fan wise. I have in the past (did this in a fit of frustration) banged on the steering wheel and it all comes back on but that is not even working. I've checked some of the connections and wires, fuses, etc. But am not finding the problem. Any ideas? BCM replacement?

Hello,

It sounds like you need to replace the BCM which is near the steering column. Here are instructions and diagrams to show you how to do the repair. The new BCM will need to be programmed at a shop it should cost about $130.00. Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what happens.
