radio will not turn off "diagnosis"?

Hi,
If the radio won't turn off, it sounds like there is a short internally that is causing an issue. When this started, was there anything that may have caused it? For example, did someone bump into you or did you hit a large pothole?
Let me know. I say an internal short because there is an on/off switch that should cut power. If you can't turn it off, the switch is likely not working.
