The volume on my new vehicle will not go past 20. It seems like it should go higher as this small volume gets drowned out by the air when it is turned up all the way. I should have a way to turn up the volume higher.

Sorry, there is no way to turn it up louder. Most newer vehicles have the volume limited to prevent hearing loss and to allow you to hear things outside the vehicle. However that vehicle does have a volume compensation system in it. It uses a microphone in the headliner to raise the volume in response to noise and speed. If it were to fail the volume compensation would not operate. Do you know if this has the premium sound system, easy way to tell is to look for a sub-woofer in the rear.
