Radio randomly turns on and off?

The radio/CD player turns on and off randomly as you drive down the road. Sometimes it happens more frequently than other times. Recently the radio has been turning on after shutting off and sitting in parking lot or garage.

The radio power is supplied by the BCM which could be going out but if the fuses at the BCM have power while the radio is not working the radio is bad. Here is a guide to help you check for power and the radio wiring diagrams so you can see how the system works and which fuses to check for power when the radio is not working.
