Radio stopped working?

Does the radio work at all? Check the wires going into the radio to make sure they are tightly connected. I have had it where a wire was loose one time and after I got it to make a god connection the radio worked well

Yes, radio and sound work, but nothing shows on the display, am going to assume removing the radio is pain, but can you share some instructions?

You need to remove the dash cover to get to the radio, but first check all the fuse to see if one is loose, When you get the dash cover off {usually just held on with clips} check the ground wire.

I checked and all fuses i see are on passenger side. All were good

Remove the screws on the side. Pull the center console and side trim loose, then pull gently trim. Remove the two screws on the sides of the head unit, then pull the head unit out. Disconnect the wiring harness and pull out the fuse. Some models have a fuse behind the radio. If all the fuses are good, you might have a defective radio. Stereo problems are difficult to diagnose, especially on the Mini Cooper where the stereo system is so heavily integrated into the computer.
