With a replacement of the original radio, it would reset anytime I would turn the car off and back on again. Everything would work, including the cigarette lighter. Now I’ve connected all the wires to the new harness for the radio I’m installing, and it won’t turn on. I checked the constant 12v with a tester I got in a kit, and it lit up red just like it did for my ground. What do I do?

The blue/yellow wire is your friend, it should have power all the time which is connected to the main memory power to the radio, then the grey wire goes to main radio power. Here is the radio wiring diagrams so you can see how the system works. Check out the images (below). Let us know if you need anything else.

I already know it’s the constant 12v, but it’s not working.

The 12 volts (constant) needs to be connected to the memory wire, is that so? Also, recheck the grounds if these are connected and it still doesn't work the radio is defective.
