Radiator sediment

I recently found glass, rock and sand in my radiator reserve tank. What kind of issues am I possibly facing? Do I need to do more then drain and flush the system?

Hi and welcome to 2CarPros.

I would suggest replacing the cap if it is missing, but you should suffer no ill effects from this. You can flush it if you like but there is no emergency to do it before the next scheduled flush which should be done every 1 to 2 years.
