Hey folks,

I successfully replaced the radiator on my SUV (LTD, V10, gas). I filled her up with coolant and started her and turned on the air full blast.

Noticed though that she is now leaking somewhere between the engine and the transmission pan. See image.

And suggestions on where what to check?

that could be a hose leaking or anything including a head gasket. auto parts rent a cooling pressure tester fill system up then pressurize it to see if you can see any leakage. It may be from the prior leak.

This guide can help

Have a 2001 Ex....Curently seems same problem I have ... Not sure if "03 is same, but Check to see if you have a coolant pipe coming from rear of water pump..it runs underneath the intake to rear of block..best way to check is remove alternator and if you have coolant sitting/pooling on block then most likely it has ruptured...crazy Ford design..must remove intake to replace, or there are some short cuts on Youtube...best is to replace that tube. Good luck.
