Upon removing the fans it was in the way and I disconnected it so the fan could come out, but didn't connect it until a day later. Since it's connected, can I drive my car without trouble. Since it's supposed to be a closed system?

Good afternoon,

That line is for the transmission cooler. I attached a picture for you of the location of the line. You do need to remove that to get the fans out.

As far as your question, no, it does not harm leaving it disconnected for a day. You are good to hook it back up and go.

REMOVAL
1. Remove upper radiator crossmember.
2. Disconnect fan electrical connector.

Here is one last question, hopefully: when I start up the car now it seems to go at a higher rpm than curb idle for at least 20 seconds then it calms down. Is that a dirty throttle body? If so, it's so close to the firewall how do you get to it?

We can deal with one issue at a time as per site rules.

Since we are beyond the fans, you need to start a new question.

I will be happy to help when you start a new question.

Never mind, i'll look on that app Mitchell1, which only shows old time cars, the kind I remember, the carburetor ones on top. And no info whatsoever. Which I mistakenly paid 20USD. I'll revert back to YouTube university, lol.
