How to back flush heater core?

Good afternoon.
The best way to flush the core is to remove both hoses and use a garden hose and run it back and forth through the core until you get an equal amount of water from both sides. Make sure it is clean water coming out.
If you do not get an equal flow, then the core will have to be replaced.
