Radiator fan not turning on?

2007 CHEVROLET SILVERADO

Radiator fan does not come on. Only comes on with coolant temperature sensor unplugged. Replaced sensor and thermostat. Fan still will not come on. Freon is also empty. Could this cause the fan not to come on?

Hi,

If the Freon is empty, the condenser fan won't turn on with the AC system. Is that what you are referring to? Is the engine overheating?
