We need more details, is the engine overheating? Do you have a check engine light on? Is the fan running with the engine on or off? This cooling fan operation could be normal.

Yes, it is running hot and the check engine light only after it overheats. It is left driver side fan new just replaced. I start up the car, turn the A/C on check both fans working after about 5 minutes. Left fan stops and right A/C fan still works. Had a block test everything okay. Could thermostat be stuck closed? Thanks for your input.

My left side fan only comes on when I turn on A/C. Then it stops after about 5 minutes. And will not come back on. The right side A/C fan keeps running.

Did you replace the thermostat? Also, we should run the codes to see what comes up. It could be the engine coolant temperature sensor.

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/checking-a-service-engine-soon-or-check-engine-light-on-or-flashing

Here is the engine coolant temperature sensor location in case a code comes up for it.

Check out the images (below). Please let us know what you find.
