I Installed a new cooling fan , and coolant temperature switch. Fan works fine except, fan comes on as soon as the key is in the run position, hot or cold engine. Once the engine is shut down fan runs for about 1- to 2 minutes.

Hello, As for the fan coming on in run. This could be a result of a failure. Have you checked for trouble codes?

As for the fan running when you shut the motor off, This is normal. The PCM will run the fan to cool things off.
