Hello,

This might be a problem with your radiator being plugged. I would suggest doing a radiator flush and fill first to see if you can knock loose whatever is plugging it first. I have included a link for you to go to down below.

Please go through the guide and get back to us with what you are able to find out.

Thanks,
Alex

Welcome to 2CarPros.

If the belt is on and tight, you should see movement when the thermostat opens. If there is nothing, are you sure there isn't an air pocket restricting coolant flow? Also, is the belt properly installed? Is the inside of the radiator clean? Was the thermostat by accident put in upside down? Also, check the lower radiator hose and make sure it isn't collapsed or kinked.

Let me know,
Joe
