Can you tell me how to change it from my old Mustang to my older one?

Hi,

I need to better understand what you are doing. If I'm correct, you want to remove the rack from a 2000 to an older one? Let me know exactly what is happening and what model year vehicles we are doing this to.

Let me know.

Joe

I want to remove the rack off the 2000 and take off the rack on the 2004 and put it on the 2000.

I looked up the part number for both model years. They are the same, so it should be straightforward. I attached the part numbers below

2000 Mustang 3.8L 2R3Z3504CARM

2004 Mustang 3.8L 2R3Z3504CARM

I attached the directions for removal and replacement for the rack below. Let me know if that helps or if you have other questions.

Take care,

Joe

Hi Chris,

Sounds like you are making progress. Since it's a used unit, it would be a good idea to flush it. Certainly, it can't hurt. LOL

Here is a link that shows how to do a general system flush. I don't know if you need it, but I thought it may help.

I hope this helps. Let me know how things turn out for you.
