I changed the right-side blend door actuator behind glove box, the old one had a strip gear.

I removed the driver side actuator and took it apart and it had no striped gears in it. Is it possible that there is still something wrong with it like the motor? Should I replace it?

I did the reset, pulling fuse for a min and powering up in acc mode for a min, then started and left everything off for another min.

When I put it into dual control and turn the right side, all the way up to 90° the right side it seems to be a little lower temperature than when it is set at 67°
Thanks for your help.

Hi,

It sounds like the actuator motor itself. You can remove it and see if it responds when you change the temp request. Also, you can check to see if it is getting power.

As far as calibration, I attached that portion of the directions below. Take a look at them and let me know if that is what you are doing.

I feel bad asking, but which one isn't working? The right was replaced but you also remove the left that doesn't have a gear issue. Is it working? Is the new one on the right side not working?

Let me know.

Joe
