I am trying to connect some interior light strips to my vehicle listed above, and I would like to find out the pinout for an 8-pin connector that is located under the steering wheel panel, and the connector is called the Option Connector on Infiniti's instruction.

Thank you for helping!

That connector looks to be M133 in factory wiring. It looks like it might be the connection for the optional contents alarm system, but they don't really show it in service info beyond the attached.

Hi Steve, I'm thankful for your time and effort in responding. I have seen many of your posts on the site, they are really helpful, I very much appreciate it!

I will do my installation on August-10th and I will let you know how it went. I just want to double-check with you, do you think this connector pinout will work for an Illuminated light strip? I want it to light when I open the door and shut off when the door is closed.

I would test them first. Just connect a test light between terminal 6 and then terminal 3 ground and see what both do. Then if one works the way you want use it to power a relay that will turn on the power to the light strips.
Modern vehicles tend to be designed to barely handle the electronic loads in them and anything extra can do damage. But if you used a relay and got power from a fused source it takes that load off the OE wiring and circuitry. I've seen multiple damaged BCMs and smart fuse panels because of added lights and amps that overloaded the factory systems and fried expensive parts.
