Quiet grinding noise low speed

TDI automatic DSG transmission. I know the DMF is chattering when in neutral or park. I’m replacing the DMF next week. But when I’m driving at low speeds there’s a quiet grinding noise until I reach about 20-25 MPH. It goes away once I’m up to speed. Seems to make a different grinding noise when I make a sharp turn maybe. Any ideas? Is this the DMF grinding?

This sounds like a front bearing hub needs to be replaced. Here is a guide that will walk you through the repair with diagrams below to show you how its done on your car:
