My turn signal was blinking fast so I knew I had a burned out bulb. The front turn signal bulb went out, so I replaced both front and rear turn signal bulbs at the same time. However, the blinker is still blinking fast. Both signals are working, but blinking fast and only on that side. Any suggestions?

Hi,

Are all of the lights lighting up when it flashes fast? Are you sure the correct bulb was used? Also, do you have signal lights on the exterior mirrors? Also, I believe there is a side indicator light as well.

The idea that it is flashing fast is an indicator of an open circuit (meaning a bulb is bad).

Let me know about the mirrors. If you have to replace one of them as well, here are the directions. The side signal lamp is included as well.

Thanks for the info. I double checked all the bulbs this morning and tested the front turn signal bulb and, sure enough, one of the two filaments was shot. Not sure how, since that was a new bulb and I don't really think of a new bulb blowing a filament, but I replaced it again and it's all good.
Thanks for the help. Have a great holiday season.

Hi,

I'm glad you got it fixed. Honestly, you would be surprised how many bulbs are bad when purchased. LOL Anything to make things just a little more difficult.

If you are in Hawaii, I envy you. It's 20° here in non-sunny Pennsylvania.

Take care of yourself. Please feel free to come back anytime in the future if you need help or have questions. You are always welcome.
