I was wondering do I need to worry about timing marks when tearing an engine down to rebuild it? Or do I just worry about when I put it back together? The engine is getting a complete rebuild. Thanks for your time!

Hi Toad!

Sounds like you have a fun project on your hands! If you are completely tearing down the engine, then there isn't really much point in worrying about the timing marks. You'll be able to adjust them once you have the crankshaft and camshaft(s) back in.
Good luck!
