Pulling/swaying when accelerating or slowing down

When I accelerate or take my foot off the gas my car pulls very heavily to one side. It happens every single time without fail to the point where my car will start swaying back-and-forth. I do believe when I had something replaced my sway bar was removed but I feel like there is something else at work here too.
