Shuts off while driving

2005 PONTIAC GRAND PRIX

Have the car listed above series 3 that shuts off while driving down the road. Put it in neutral and it starts right back up . Changed MAF sensor , fuel pump , crankshaft position sensor and it's still doing it . Only codes are for knock sensor ,oxygen sensor bank 1 and a heater sensor thing . Please help

This does sound like a fuel issue so let's start with putting a fuel pressure gauge on the engine and then tape it to the windshield so that you can watch it when this acts up.

Assuming that the pressure doesn't drop then we need to check the battery and cables. A cable issue or ground issue will cause the engine to just cut off as well.
