I installed LED headlight bulbs in my car and have had them on for like 3 years now. I had an issue with the left projector housing but lived with it. I am wondering if I can fix it without replacing the entire housing. The beam put out by the left headlight is little to nothing and the perfect cutoff that you get from projectors is nonexistent. The right headlight is working perfectly. When I bought the car, I had halogens, and the beam pattern was perfect. I think when I messed with them the projector housing kind of knocked out of place because any bulb I put in there, the beam pattern is the same. I have attached a picture.

I don't see the picture? It sounds like the bulb is installed incorrectly which will focus the center point off to the side of the lens which will cause the problem you have described. Are both the headlights on and bright? The bulb will have a timer tab to help align it. Here are the instructions to install the bulb correctly which should fix the problem. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.

I have attached the photo to this reply. I could put on halogen or LEDs into the left projector housing, but the beam pattern is really off compared to the right-side projectors. The bulbs are installed properly but the projector lens doesn’t put out the light properly.

Thanks for the images. It looks like something inside the headlight housing has changed so it needs to be replaced. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.

It happened when I installed the LEDs in there for the second time. Is there like a pin or screw that holds the projector in place?

Just a tab and spring clip, I would remove the bulb for inspection and placement confirmation. You can upload some images of the situation so I can see if you find something you are not sure of.
