What makes you thinks it's a security problem? Do you have a security indicator on or flashing when you try to start it?

There isn't a whole lot that you can do yourself with this system. You can test all your fuses and maybe try a different key but anything beyond that will require a profession level scan tool, not just a DIY tool.
