I need some help! My lights were left on by mistake and my battery drained. I got a jump and my car now starts but now I have the malfunction indicator lamp light on along with my traction control light. My car also just rolls (when in drive or reverse) as if it is in neutral and I have no revving sounds when I step on the accelerator and absolutely no power to move forward. The battery has not been changed yet but others I have talked to do not seem to think it is a battery issue. Any ideas?

I do not think it is battery related on its own, it sounds more like the power-train module is not responding. What I would do is to get a fully charged battery, remove the one that drained. Then set the new one in place and then touch the two disconnected battery cables together for about thirty seconds. Now connect up the new battery starting with the positive cable then the negative cable. See if it responds now. If not get a test light and test every fuse to verify none blew during the jump start.
