What is the best way to press in a lower ball joint on a 1995 chevy c2500 without using a ball joint press?

Yep you can do it and this is how. First set the control arm in the sun or the oven at 150 degrees and let warm, then put the ball joint in the freezer (overnight) it will go right together with little effort. Just use a hammer and a block of wood to protect the joint.

Some said a press is the only way but none of the adapters that go over the ball joint will fit and it seems as if I need a bigger C clamp also. So I am glad I asked because your method worked perfect you guys are the best.
