My window switch will just stop working. It's the same whether up or down, just stops. For a couple of weeks if I shut the vehicle off and restart it windows work okay, but now nothing at all. Also trunk buttons on the vehicle and the key fob both quit working.

Hello,

It sounds like the main window switch is out. to be sure here is a guide to help you test and the window wiring diagrams so you can see how the system works. Notice the system fuses you should test as well.

Hello,

This could be a problem with Ground #M57. This is the ground that all the components that go to your power window circuits connect to. Pleas inspect this ground and make sure that it is clean, corrosion free, tight, and making good metal to metal contact. In the diagrams down below I have included the location of Ground M57 as well as wiring diagrams for the power windows and a guide on how to inspect grounds for you. Please go through these guides and get back to us with what you are able to find out.

Thanks,
Alex
