Hi, I'm writing from Türkiye. my passenger side and left rear window doesn't open or close by master switch. Both of them working with their own door switch. İt is not working with drivers switch. I tried it with a button I took from another car. It is same. And diagnose says ''position sensor communication error'' In my country car repairman's are very difficult. they don't know anything about that. I want to fix it myself.

Hello,

There are 2 systems, with and without Auto idle stop (Stop/Start).
If you could please clarify which system is installed and also post the fault code, not just description, so that we can try and assist.

Theory of operation

Power Window Master Switch (With Front or All Power Windows AUTO UP/AUTO DOWN Function)
The power window master switch has a built-in B-CAN transceiver and a LIN transceiver. The power window master switch sends signals from the LIN to each power window switch and to the sunroof control unit/motor.

Front Passenger's Power Window Switch (With Front or All Power Windows AUTO UP/AUTO DOWN Function)
Front passenger's power window switch has a built-in control unit. Control is performed by receiving signals from the power window master switch via the LIN.

Rear Power Window Switches (With All Power Windows AUTO UP/AUTO DOWN Function)
Rear power window switches have a built-in control unit. Control is performed by receiving signals from the power window master switch via the LIN.

Power Window Motors
The motor includes the pulse sensors that detect window's position and direction with the motor rotation. The rotating direction (up/down) is detected with the rotating cycles from the 2 pulse sensors and the moving amount (window position) is also detected by considering 4 pulses as one rotation pulse.

Cheers, Boris
