My driver's window would go down but not up. Power door locks and key fob would not work. Power mirrors would not work. After throwing parts at it. : ( Driver door master switch, power window control module I took it to a mechanic who found the problem to be the wiring to the driver's door in the door jamb. He had to take the door off and clean up the wiring connections and now it is all working great with the original driver's master switch and window control module.

You are welcome Ken. I was surprised they had to take the door off and wish I could have been there to see what they did! Merry Christmas!

Most likely item would be that a wire or wires in the door harness failed and they pulled the door to have better access to the wires to repair/replace the failed sections. Small car, light door would be much easier to work on it on a bench than kneeling next to the car to do the repairs.

I can relate to that, LOL! Thanks, that makes sense. So happy to have the Del Sol back to 100%!

Yeah, there are times when I will tear off half the vehicle just to get to a part so I can deal with it on the bench. So much easier than trying to twist yourself in knots to work on it where it is. For a repair like that I would have either pulled the door or put it on the mid rise lift. It is like working on many full sized trucks. I will pull the front tires and set them down with blocks under the suspension so I can work at a comfortable height.
