I had my power steering pump replaced and when I got the car back, belts were loose and the pulley had to replaced. Is the pulley related to or associated with changing out the power steering pump?

Hello, I am Danny.

Yes, when your power steering pump is replaced the pulley has to be removed to be used again and sometimes gain access to the bolts. After the pump is replaced your pulley is reinstalled. Hope this helps and feel free to ask any further questions. Thanks for using 2CarPros.
