I drove over a puddle that was a bit deeper than I anticipated. As soon, as I got out of the puddle and onto the road, my overheat light came on and started beeping loudly at me. I pulled over and there was no antifreeze in the coolant reservoir. We called a tow truck and had it towed to a garage. We are waiting for them to tell us what happened. When we returned to the car to meet the tow truck, I noticed a red oily fluid underneath the car. When I got in the car to steer it to the back of the garage after having it dropped off by the tow truck, I could barely turn the steering wheel. Any ideas what happened to it? Was it the entire reservoir that busted or just the hoses? How much does it generally cost to repair things like this, worst-case scenario?
