I have replaced the pump four times and the hoses and the reservoir tank. Something is making it now the gasket in the pump and it acts like no fluid is going through. Whining and hard to turn. What else is making this Happen?

Hi Lee,

When you say hose do you mean the pressure and return line from the rack and pinion?

Yep, it sounds like you have all the hoses replaced and the pump the rack is the only thing left in the system. You must have a selector valve that is bad or plugged. Are you using high quality pumps like from the dealer? Cheap pumps fail rather quickly.

Please let me know we will help you get the problem fixed.

Best, Ken
