Replaced power steering pump two times in the past week. However, the pumps went out again. What could be the issue? I have also replaced the rack and pinion. Newer tires that don't show abnormal wear and tired appear to be in alignment.

Good afternoon,

If you are using rebuilt pumps, I would return them and get a new pump from the dealer.

The rebuilds for some reason keep breaking the shafts inside. I have been through his over the years and learned very quickly that new was the only way to go.
