Power Steering message across instrument panel?

So, for the electric power steering there’s two parts modules?

The 2008 Chevy Cobalt typically has only one power steering module. The power steering module is responsible for controlling and assisting the power steering system in the vehicle. It receives inputs from various sensors to determine the steering effort required and adjusts the power steering assistance accordingly.

What problems are you having? Have you scanned the computer to see if there are diagnostic trouble codes? In this case, you will need a scan tool that reads all codes via the can-bus.

So far no issues on the Power Steering but still have the message on the instrument panel just stating “Power Steering” checked the fuses no bad fuses.

Hi,

Thanks for the update. As far as the indicator message, I would recommend having the can-bus scanned as mentioned above. Since we have a message indicating a problem, it should show up as a code.
