How do you replace the power steering hose that goes to the power steering rack and returns to the reservoir?

Power steering low side return hose from power steering rack to reservoir It's the low pressure one.

Hi,

The directions I was able to find are somewhat vague. I did attach them below for you. As far as the low pressure/return line, do you need to replace the entire thing? It has both metal and rubber components. In most cases, the steel doesn't fail unless it is rusted.
