That is a hard question for me to answer, lol. I would recommend cleaning the assembly and then inspecting. If the leak is actually from the pump and not a hose, other than a rust issue, it can really only leak in a couple places. I have attached an exploded picture of the pump itself. Take a look at the picture and focus your inspection on the front of the pump, where the shaft goes through the front housing, numbers 10, 11, 12 and the rear of the pump, numbers 35 through 45. Number 45 is the switch you are referring to and you can see there are several o-ring that can leak. Additionally, on the back of the switch is where the high pressure hose attaches which can leak. Determine of the leak is front or rear on the pump. That should help you determine where the leak is coming from.
